Our Story

The Barn on Flaxton was established in 1969 and is perfectly positioned between Mapleton and Montville, perched on the Blackall Range of the Sunshine Coast.

Flaxton is a quaint and charming hinterland village with a friendly and vibrant community, that offers a unique, eclectic mix of dining and shopping experiences.

The Barn on Flaxton has built a reputation as a popular locale to meet up with family & friends for coffee, breaky, lunch or high teas. The Barn continues to grow in popularity amongst locals and visitors alike (since the new ownership in 2019) and now offers a fully licensed venue with a fresh seasonal menu and a large variety of giftware.
